I was appointed Director of Music Ministry for the 8:30 am Sunday service at St Andrew’s Anglican Church South Brisbane in January 2019. As part of this role, I am responsible for the church choir and planning of music for the 8:30 am Sunday service.

Born in Singapore, I came to Brisbane to pursue both my Bachelor of Music and Master of Philosophy in Music Performance at The University of Queensland (UQ). I was also a resident at St John’s College (UQ) where I was an organ scholar, musician-in-residence, as well as conductor of the St John’s College Choral Scholars.

As a soprano soloist, I have sung roles with the Singapore Lyric Opera, The Queensland Choir, and I am regularly featured in Lieder Festivals internationally. Before moving back to Brisbane, my passion for music education led me to be appointed associate chorus mistress of the Singapore Lyric Opera Children’s Chorus.

Married to Peter with two beautiful boys and a little one on the way, my desire is to glorify God with the gifts that He has given me – through music. I also believe in a personal relationship with God and that everything we do, we do it unto Him.
